Gary Cutson
Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Gary founded A5 REIT Services LLC and A5 Securities LLC to apply his extensive experience with REITs to provide sponsors of private REITs with a more user-friendly and cost-effective experience.

Previously, Gary was tax partner and National Leader of PwC's Real Estate Tax Practice & Technical Leader of REIT Practice. His practice focused on real estate and infrastructure investments where he applied his extensive experience with both the private REIT model and public REITs

for the benefit of the firm’s clients including REIT formation, operational and liquidation issues. Gary’s experience includes domestic and international transactions, tax due diligence for public and private REIT acquisitions. He authored several publications and comment letters to the Internal Revenue Service on issues affecting the real estate industry. Before joining PwC, Gary was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Post Properties, Inc., a real estate development company.

Lauren Janian
Executive Vice President

Lauren has responsibilities for private placements by A5 Securities LLC and servicing of preferred shares by A5 REIT Services LLC, including processing of distributions, shareholder and REIT reporting, tax reporting, and transfers of preferred shares.

Prior to joining A5, Lauren was a partner at the law firms of Pryor Cashman LLP and Davis & Gilbert LLP in New York City. She advised high net worth clients, including hedge fund and private equity fund founders and principals, startup founders, executives, entrepreneurs and artists. Lauren began her legal career as an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.

Carol Ann has over 25 years of experience in general management, operations and financial management of broker dealers. She has been a Financial and Operations Principal (FINOP) since 2002.
Carol Ann is also a principal of Brokerage Consulting Group, a firm that provides consulting services to broker dealers with registration, membership changes, compliance and technology.
