About Us

A5 REIT Services LLC provides servicing for preferred shares that are often issued by a private real estate investment trust (REIT) to satisfy the requirement that a REIT have at least 100 shareholders after its first tax year.  The shares are offered through A5 Securities LLC, a broker dealer and a member of FINRA and SIPC.  Prior to forming A5 REIT Services LLC, Gary Cutson led the REIT tax practice of a “Big 4” accounting firm and worked with many clients and their legal advisers with the practical issues of implementing and operating private REITs.  From those experiences, Gary saw opportunities to improve the existing preferred share model for private REITs as well as to provide a more client-service oriented approach in working with sponsors and addressing any unique requirements.

As described in further detail on the following pages, our program delivers several advantages to REIT sponsors and their advisers.  The "A5 Advantage" includes, --
